Staff and player reports

Before the event, GGG staff and players who played in 2023 clarified the following:

Source What it established
A GGG staff member who worked on the game Weapon symbols all count toward Attack. Item bases are from PoE2. Core rules are the same as 2023. Shirts now show the monster’s act. Monsters are spread around the venue. No restriction on who you challenge or quest order, but you can’t repeatedly fight the same staff member.
A video interview with game director Jonathan Rogers Several pinnacle bosses, including staff members Octavian and Andrew. The mirror prize differs from 2023’s.
Players who played in 2023 What the number on a stat means (“4 + Fire + Fire” = two Fire plus four of anything; Sword + Fire + 2 = four symbols). Jewellery is all-or-nothing per piece. You can’t die: losing means fleeing, and cards only take Damage on a win. Losing in a map wastes the map. Staff clip one or more used items. Loot is usually “draw 2, pick 1”. Updating these docs

If a rule turns out to be different at the venue, change the rules page, move the question out of FAQ → Open questions once it’s answered, and add a line to the table above saying where the answer came from.
